My woodworking journey began when I stumbled across videos of traditional Japanese carpentry on YouTube. Hearing the pounding of mallets and the gentle scraping sounds of chisels and saws left me feeling relaxed and inspired. Soon after, I bought my first tools - a chisel and a tiny hand saw.

I started off with simple joints using wooden blocks. Once I was satisfied with my progress, I moved on to crafting my first bookshelf. The design of this bookshelf used no nails, screws, or glue. It is held together using wedges instead. After many long days in the garage and many mistakes, I completed my first bookshelf.

I began crafting furniture pieces for friends and family, tirelessly improving my craftsmanship with each piece. I realized that I had discovered my passion, and I worked to turn this hobby into a business.

I now work to create beautiful, timeless furniture for my customers. With much of the furniture industry being reliant on machines, I strive to attain similar levels of perfection using mainly hand tools, creating furniture that is truly handcrafted.
